Meet the team



Tony Abbott,
Managing Director

Prior to setting up Reactiv Media Ltd, Tony spent 15 very successful years in sales & marketing. Tony set-up Reactiv in June 2007 with the goal of bringing all the various aspects of the data and lead generation industry under one roof. Specializing in Midas data, direct marketing, lead generation, consumer data, B2B data and data cleansing, Reactiv Media Ltd have within a very short space of time built first class partnerships with major players in many sectors including Finance, Travel, Insurance and Home Shopping.

By employing the best people he has ensured that his dream of running the best data and marketing business in the UK is kept alive as the team continuously strives forward in its pursuit of excellence.



Fiona Timms,
Commercial Manager

Fiona graduated in music and then, having decided to ‘get a proper job’, moved into the world of corporate banking at Citigroup where she worked in a variety of roles including marketing, product development and, finally, global business and product management.

After re-locating to Yorkshire, she spent time at HBOS in a change management role focusing primarily on credit and risk management before joining Advertising Technique Limited as the Commercial and Account Director.

Fiona joined the Reactiv team in May 2008 and is enjoying the challenge of working with a strong team during such a dynamic and exciting time for the business. Having spent time in both the financial, corporate and small business worlds, she has become heavily involved in Reactiv’s organisational strategies, the ongoing development of the customer proposition and the operational aspects of the business.



Craig Dyson,
Senior Business Development Manager (Lead Generation)

Tony's ambition to launch and run a leading data and media company was a major factor in Craig’s decision to join Reactiv Media Ltd. Having spent 9 years in the armed forces, Craig used his background in negotiating and managing difficult situations to move into the directly marketing industry in a sales role.

His personal goal is to be a major player within this fast growing successful industry which he is accomplishing through his dedication to providing high quality service levels to both existing and prospective clients.

With over ten year experience in direct marketing, consumer, B2B and lifestyle data, Craig brings all his attributes to the fold to ensure his clients receive the return on investment they desire.



Leigh Cheshire,
Senior Business Development Manager

Having worked in direct marketing and B2B data for over ten years now my, tours of duty have been primarily working with a leading business data supplier as an Account Manager and a further four years working as consumer data broker.

At Reactiv Media Ltd I can now specialise in all of these areas and be confident that we can provide our customers with high speed delivery of accurate, cost effective direct marketing solutions across all channels of Direct Marketing.



Adam Loveday,
Senior Business Development Manager

I have been working in the data industry for the past six years, primarily within the financial services sector providing profile data, direct marketing solutions as well as lifestyle data.

Dane Fleetwood,
Senior Business Development Manager

Dane has a very strong back ground in B2B and B2C sales and has shown a tangible track record as a over achiever in all industry sectors. More recently Dane has been involved at a senior level in the finance industry supporting the owner and Director of a Master Brokers before joining Reactiv Media late last year to further his career in Media.

A dynamic and successful executive with many years of experience in several sectors of fast moving industries. Dane has management experience at executive level ranging from transformational change to business exploitation, excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, results orientated with a “can do” attitude. Strategically astute with diverse commercial and implementation experience. Currently Dane assists with product development for in sourced data product delivery and operational support to deployed platforms and services successfully delivering data applications for new products and services within Reactiv.



Kate Lambert,
Marketing & Customer Service Manager

Kate graduated from Huddersfield University in 2002, where she gained a BA Hons Degree in Marketing, Retail and Distribution together with the Institute of Direct Marketing Diploma (IDM).

Kate was an Account Manager for 3 years for a marketing solutions company before joining the team at Reactiv. Her strong background in consumer data, B2B data, lifestyle, profile data and data cleansing has enabled her to identify many opportunities to develop the Reactiv customer service model to the current high standards.

In addition to leading the Customer Service team, Kate is actively involved in developing and implementing the organisation’s overall marketing strategy including PR, advertising and sales promotion and product packaging.



Tony Lees,
Digital Manager

I have worked in IT sector for 14 years for various multinational organisations designing, implementing and managing small and large corporate networks. The vast array of services to maintain varying from hardware, software, business applications, communications and infrastructure has kept my drive and enthusiasm to learn and further develop my skills.

I joined Reactiv in January 2008 to maintain their IT infrastructure but quickly the door opened into the Digital Marketing arena managing all email campaigns; creative design, broadcast and reporting working closely with the client to achieve their ojectives and maximise revenue. Other responsibilities include webdesign for financial and other lead generation projects.



Robert Bamforth,
Production / IT Manager

Rob has worked in the IT industry for the past 6 years, specialising in software development and database administration. Prior to joining Reactiv in 2006, Rob spent 4 successful years working and training in software houses with integrated database architecture.

Rob has brought the skills gained through his work experience and time at Huddersfield University to meet the high requirements demanded for his role and that of his team delivering production, new development in addition to maintaining the high level of data integrity required to be a key and trusted player in the industry.



Mark Johnstone,
Call Centre Manager

Mark started work on the ‘shop floor’ in the Call Centre. Since then he has progressed through the team in various roles and now heads up the Call Centre.

Mark deals with all the daily aspects of running the Call Centre, from speaking to clients regarding current orders, managing all aspects of managing and developing the team of agents through recruitment, retention, motivation and training.

Mark enjoys working alongside members of his team to help them develop their own skills to help them succeed at their job. He also enjoys the challenging nature of the job including the changing nature of the activities. As Call Centre Manager, Mark focuses heavily on Reactiv’s core value of providing high quality products and service levels to clients in order to maximize their return on investment thereby establishing long-term value-added relationships.



Arran Ferrie,
Senior Accounts Clerk

I have worked within the finance industry for the past six years, starting with an apprenticeship in accounts after leaving school.

I have worked in various positions in the past, and was pleased to accept the current challenges offered when joining the Reactiv Media Team and am responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of accounts, credit control, payroll and preparation of management accounts.
