Interactive Voice Recording is widely used within large corporate companies to automate some or all of their telephone based customer interactions. IVR uses pre-recorded voice prompts and menus to answer customer enquires inputted via telephone keypad or speech recognition, without the need for a live agent.
A typical IVR platform can be used for call queuing, bill payments, credit card processing and many more.
How about using Interative Voice Recording for outbound calling? Pre-record a message, select the recipient telephone numbers and press send. Reactivs' in house platform calls the telephone numbers and, when answered, the recorded message starts and explains:
- Why the end user has been called. "Are you looking for a loan?" or "Are you looking to quit smoking?" Other examples include: "Think you have been missold PPI in the last 6 years?" or "Are you considering installing solar panels at your home?"
- Call to action(s). "Press one to speak with one of our advisors or press two to request a call back convenient to you."
- Response – The caller is redirected to a call centre agent or the agent calls back at the specified time.
- Outcome – Leads are converted at 60% higher than cold calling, ROI is significantly increased and agent costs are reduced.
A recent campaign for Halifax RLFC was to broadcast a message from Brian Noble, former GB coach and now on the coaching staff at Halifax RLFC. The project raised awareness of the recently played Northern Rail Cup Final and urged listeners to order their tickets before they ran out by pressing one on their keypad. In doing so they were transferred to a free agent. "The feedback from the Halifax board and fans was fantastic", said Matthew Turner, Marketing Manager for Halifax RLFC, "this is something we will definitely do again to advertise our new kit launch and ticket sales for important league or cup games."
