Apple accepts the App

Reactiv Media is delighted to announce that the companies first iPhone Application has been accepted by Apple in record time. The innovative App, for Halifax Rugby League, comes after just 13 days of submitting, ahead of the recommended waiting period of anywhere between 2 weeks and 3 months.

The App, created by the Digital Team within Reactiv Media, produces supporters of Halifax Rugby League with instant updates on team news, twitter and blog posts, and videos from players and coaches. The new App is available immediately on the iTunes store for FREE, and represents a new avenue for the ever-expanding Reactiv Media to venture down.

"This is a momentous day for Reactiv Media," said Founder and Managing Director, Tony Abbott. "It's been something we've been looking at for sometime, and to have it submitted so quickly by Apple is real positive for Reactiv. The Digital team have been working hard and come up with some great features. Halifax Rugby League are already benefiting from the App and it continues our amazing support between Reactiv and the local Rugby League team."

The iPhone App comes just a couple of weeks after the Digital team submitted the same Android App to the Mobile Market. That release was quickly downloaded by dozens of supporters of Halifax Rugby League, and the interest for the iPhone App is already proving to be greater.

Reactiv Media are now working hard to improve the functionality of the App, create a brand new interface feature so customers can control the content directly, and looking at ways to get it to market as quickly and efficiently as possible.

"We hope to have a fully functional Mobile App department by the end of the year, capable of creating hundreds of Apps every year. There's a gap in the mobile market currently that makes it hard for smaller businesses to sign up. We feel we've come up with a system that can be affordable for company's of all sizes, as well as producing the entire App quickly and helping it to get to market."
